The Federal Government of Canada tabled Bill C-45 on Thursday April 13, 2017 starting the lengthy process to provide legal access to cannabis and to regulate its production, distribution and sale.  The 131 page document sets a framework for a robust set of regulations covering everything from cultivation, packaging and labeling, to strict criminal sanctions for law breakers.  Dell Tech has assigned our top consultants to review the regulations and assist our clients with selling and distributing compliant cannabis products in Canada by July 2018. We have been following the growth of the industry in Colorado and anticipate that many of the regulations and restrictions to packaging and labeling cannabis products will be mirrored in the Canadian regulations.
