Raw Material Classification Services

By: Kirsten Alcock, Manager of Product Safety, email

At Dell Tech, we provide our clients with consistent, reliable raw material classifications.

Dell Tech has experience of over 40 years in classifying raw materials for a variety of different regulations.

Why should you use a Raw Material Classification Service?

  1. Have up-to-date information.

Safety Data Sheet programs do not necessarily classify raw materials or may classify based on older existing data. As regulations change, information changes (such as IARC, PROP 65, DSL, NDSL, and TSCA status). Dell Tech has access to a paid subscription service that offers up‐to‐date information on raw materials. We classify raw material based on current data and can provide the data sources so you can back up your classifications if/when needed.

  1. Save time.

Raw material classification takes time, and you may not be sure where to look for information. Save time by letting the experts do it for you.

  1. Be sure of your data.

Reliability is key. If you use unreliable data, it will trickle through to your overall classifications. If improperly classified, products can be hazardous to users and your bottom line. This could lead to product recalls and/or injured workers. Dell Tech takes the time to review each and every raw material for compliance through database searches worldwide and uses only the most reliable sources for our information.

  1. Get expert answers to your questions.

Our knowledgeable team can answer your questions on raw material classification. Our expertise includes contacting government officials anonymously to confirm information when necessary.

For raw material classification that is consistent, reliable, and cost-effective, contact Dell Tech Laboratories.
