Under Bill S-5, also known as the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act, e-liquids manufactured and sold in Canada must comply with the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations (CCCR 2001). Dell Tech has successfully reviewed labels for many ECTA members and here is how we can help you:
o Product Classification: E-liquids containing more than 0.1 mg/mL nicotine are considered Toxic, and flavourings may be considered Irritants.
o Labeling Requirements: Provide you with the necessary labeling requirements, including hazard symbols, safety instructions, warning statements, and first aid instructions if required.
o Act Specific Label Restrictions: Review prohibited product names, flavours, and ingredients.
Dell Tech has the knowledge to determine if your product meets certain labelling exemptions and we can help determine if you have the correct Child Resistant Closures (CRC). Additionally, we can help you reformulate and make suggestions on how your product can be less hazardous under the CCCR 2001 regulations.
