Do you want to be kept up-to-date on things happening in Canada for WHMIS?  If so, not only can you depend on Dell Tech to keep you up-to-date but you can also rely on Health Canada to do so.  The Workplace Hazards Materials Information System (WHMIS) has a subscription to their news.

If you sign up, they will add you to their email list and send you any of the latest and greatest news on things related to WHMIS. It is available for anyone – you do not need to be in this industry or associated with any particular organization.

To subscribe, please go to the following website.

The aforementioned link will bring you to their page where you can send them an email for addition to the latest news.  It is a great way to know what is coming down the line.

WHMIS 2015 is expected to be making some changes over the next couple of years so I highly recommend signing up to be kept aware of what to expect in the coming years.

In the meanwhile, if you have any questions related to WHMIS 2015, do not hesitate to contact us. We can help you bring your products into compliance. As I’ve seen in industry, many Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) are still not in compliance with the Hazardous Products Regulations (HPR) and still refer to the older Controlled Products Regulations (CPR). An SDS in compliance with the CPR is no longer compliant in Canada and needs to be moved over ASAP. Should you require help with this transition, please contact us.  We are the leading experts in Canadian Globally Harmonized System (GHS) requirements and have been in this industry for more than 40 years. We have the experience you need and the individuals you can trust to get the SDS brought into compliance.
