Product Safety Update: HPA Guidance Documents

Health Canada has recently released a document outlining technical guidance on the requirements of the Hazardous Products Act (HPA) and the Hazardous Products Regulations (HPR). The document provides guidance to suppliers of hazardous products found in Canadian workplaces. The document outlines labeling and SDS requirements, the steps in determining a hazard classification, and provides a checklist to complete an HMIRA Claim for Exemption form.  The document is available upon request here
