Notice to stakeholders regarding compliance and enforcement

Health Canada, under the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (the Inspectorate), performs compliance monitoring within the natural health product industry.

All parties that sell, manufacture, package, label, import, distribute or advertise natural health products (NHPs) in Canada must comply with the Food and Drugs Act as well as the Natural Health Products Regulations and are subject to compliance and enforcement actions.

If you currently have a site license and are concerned about the possibility of being selected during a compliance monitoring event conducted by the Inspectorate, be prepared. Do not get into a situation of non-compliance.  Dell Tech can assist you with a pre-audit review of good manufacturing practices (GMP) of NHPs as required under the Natural Health Products Regulations.
