Confidential Inquiries with the Regulators
By: Kirsten Alcock, Manager of Product Safety, email
One of the services we offer to our clients is to speak to government representatives on their behalf without disclosing their client name. This is something we do quite often when a client has an inquiry that falls out of the normal realm of the regulations and they would like something in writing to confirm how they should label or sell their product within the United States or Canada. In many circumstances, there is a need for a clarification of a part of a regulation to ensure they have interpreted the regulations correctly, or the regulation itself is written in such a way that it is confusing to the user. Many of our clients prefer to be anonymous in this process as they do not want the regulators to know who is inquiring.
At Dell Tech, we are happy to help facilitate communication to confirm how the regulators want to see your products labeled, and how they expect a regulation to be interpreted, etc.
How can Dell Tech help?
- Dell Tech will contact OSHA, Health Canada, TDG/DOT, or CPSC on your behalf
- Communication with the regulators is confidential. The company name will not be disclosed
- Dell Tech will prepare a summary of the conversation and/or forward the documentation received from the regulators
