Be Aware: Health Canada Continues to Issue Product Recalls

Although Health Canada has been busy implementing interim measures to accelerate public access to hand sanitizers and hard surface disinfectants, please be aware that product safety enforcement is still underway. Health Canada regularly publishes Public Advisories, Information Updates, Safety Alerts, and Product Recalls online. Recalls and alerts are categorized under Consumer, Food, and Health Products, and may be found here.
During the recall process, Health Canada may request documentation and classification records, test reports, reference materials, and container specifications. You will also need to provide information on the number of units sold, the time period of the sale(s), and all the model numbers affected by the recall.
