2017 Domestic Substances List (DSL) Inventory Update

On January 14, 2017, Environment Canada issued a Notice under Section 71 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act for approximately 1500 substances listed on the Domestic Substances List (DSL) and/or the Revised in Commerce List.

Response to the survey is mandatory for any person or company that manufactured or imported more than 100 kg of any of the listed substances, either alone or at a concentration of greater than 0.1% in a mixture or a product in 2014 or 2015.

The required information must be submitted to Environment Canada no later than July 17, 2017, at 3 p.m.
