Official notice that the WHMIS 2015 deadline has been extended was published this morning.
This notice includes a discussion for the proposal to amend the Hazardous Products Regulations (WHMIS 2015) to restore the use of prescribed concentration ranges in Section 3 of an SDS without the need for a HMIRA Claim for Exemption (trade secret) Registration.
The proposed amendments to restore prescribed concentration ranges to the Hazardous Products Regulations (WHMIS 2015) is expected to be published in summer 2017.
