DIN Registered Products: MI/MCI Mandatory Reporting

MI/MCI, a preservative sometimes know as Kathon, is no longer permitted in any leave-on cosmetic products in Canada. Companies selling DIN Registered products must report the levels of MI/MCI to Health Canada EVEN IF THERE IS NO MI/MCI IN YOUR PRODUCT.  Notification letters are due to Health Canada by April 18, 2016. Contact Dell Tech today if you require assistance submitting mandatory notifications to Health Canada by the due date.

  • Sunscreen
  • Acne therapy products
  • Antiseptic skin cleansers
  • Anti-dandruff products
  • Athletes foot treatments,
  • Medicated skin care products
  • Diaper rash products
  • Throat lozenges
  • Disinfectants
